skinny jeans, bring it on!

soooo. kinda crazy but in a few short weeks I've lost a couple more pounds and I'm in my skinny jeans, woohoo!! I think it's a combo of end of a 2 year relationship....and the 3 week sore throat/coughing combo and just feeling like a new me! I'm really thinking positively in these coming months...

also, I still haven't met my little nephew. everybody and I mean everybody else has. so hope to meet him soon!! : )

not to shabby

ok so it's been 2 weeks now that I've been coughing and sick :( *sighs* I seriously sound like a 85 year old man who smokes. oh well. I do have some good news, my sister had her baby!! woohoo, I'm officially an auntie now. makes me happy. So I'm hoping to get to spokane soon to meet the little man. Very exciting, I must say....


On another note, this past week has been very different....but in a good way. Alot of change, currently single after an almost 2 year relationship, but it was the best choice for me. I'm getting out more, meeting new people and experiencing life in a new way : ) I do think I've consumed far to much wine and kettle vodka on the rocks w/ lemon....and beer but hey I'm having a good time....do wish I had more family here though....I want Martini nights with my sister Kerri... :)

my mind is...

ok so sorry for not posting anything for a few days, haven't been where I can use a computer. Life for me right now is a little....tough right now and my mind is in a little bit of a blur. To be blunt about it, so if something inspires me to write I will :) *sigh* being in your twenty's sucks right now!!! Anyway, hope everybody else is doing well :) Cheers!

"What can we get started for you??" :) Sheesh.

Is it just me or are we way to obsessed with " Starbucks " seriously. I can get a gallon of organic milk for under $4 and I just payed $4 for a tall vanilla latte'. Doesn't that seem extremely expensive and crazy?? My other question is can somebody help me with my obsession, I go thru the drive thru on my way to work at least 4 times a week, eeeeek!!! :) I can't get away and need therapy I've decided. Any ideas on how to get my coffee fix?? ( oh, small problemo don't have a coffee maker...hmmmm ) mmmmm, this $4 latte' is way to good......

an apple a day keeps the ole' doc away.....right.

This day started out pretty good, considering i was out last night with a client untill 2:30. am. Really random to go to two bars in one night, and stay out so late but I don't do that very often. Long over due girls night :) Anways, I felt pretty good, went to cotsco (again) and cleaned up a bit, but my throat has been killing me with those lovley sharp knife type pains when you aren't doing anything at all. I just love the feeling when your thinking to yourself " to swallow or not to swallow" is it worth the pain? Whos knows, so long story short I went to the Ole' Doc's office and of course broke out in hives. Don't ask. I get anxious in Dr's office's I don't know why....my blood pressure was 140 or something crazy. As soon as they said they were going to do the "routine swabbing of the deepest part of your throat we like to choke ya routine" I immediately panicked and was trying to be all casual and act as if I wasn't considering bolting for the nearest exit. Would they Notice?? But I didn't, instead I burst into tears when the nurse came at me with that weird tongue stick a.k.a " the choker" and I begged. pleated. I think I even offered her money, I don't know my mind was in a blur I was seeing 3 of her and thought the world was coming to the end. And people call me dramatic? Weird I know. She finally did somehow force the swab down the back of my throat and got the culture or whatever the heck she scraped, and I don't have strep. Thank the good lord God almighty. so just lots of pain meds, ice cream and soft foods for me untill I feel better : )

Jay's asleep in the chair in the living room, snoring softly holding his pepsi. its 6:45pm, love it!! makes me smile : ) Ahhhhhhh anyway Meat loaf is done, better go have some dinner :) Cheers!!

Thanks to my sister, who is " glowing and Preggers", text me about a Ed Hardy T-shirt being on sale at Costco for $27!! Hey that's a great price for those shirts, yes they are a " trend " but soooo cute!!! Mine is turquoise and I just love it, woohoo!! It's a good day after all :)

Take Two

soooo...my blog looks so sad, alone and lonely. not much to look at I know. I'm not so artsy like my other family members. sometimes I look at Kerris blog and seriously think that I have to be adopted because I can't write like that. so you might be asking yourself " why are you attempting to blog?" well, I'll simply answer with " hmmm,I always try something once" really I do. Sushi, fish eggs, raw tuna ( it has another name, I can't spell it oh well ) and I usually end up liking what I try...so Maybe I'll get better at this : )

I'm going to finish my glass of wine and head to the gym to " work out" sometimes I go and walk on the treadmill to feel better. I know I should be pushing myself more but hey, at least I'm there right?
